Megan grew up in the suburbs of Rochester, NY where, as a 4th grader, she made her stage debut as a contadine in Chestnut Ridge Elementary School’s production of The Gondoliers. Yes, you read that right…read more about her Elementary School’s affinity for Gilbert and Sullivan here.
From there, she dove headfirst into character work and comedy, continuing to play exclusively age appropriate roles like Mme. Thenardier at 15 and Mushu the Dragon at 11. She attended Nazareth University from 2011-2015 where she studied opera and voice with Soo Yeon Kim and Andrea Folan. She graduated with a degree in music education, immediately deciding it was the only career path she would never pursue.
Since completing her formal education, Megan has worked extensively at becoming a well-rounded performer and industry technician. Her varied background in improv, vocal study, arts marketing, cabaret, understudy work, playwriting, and producing has given her a view of the theatrical process that puts teamwork at the heart of every interaction she has, onstage and off.
She’s a delight to be around, she will hit her mark, she will work her ass off, she will pen an unbiased “About” section of her website. Megan works full time in community building and is based in Philadelphia, PA with planned relocation to NYC in March, 2026.
She is currently seeking representation. Really it’s the whole reason she made this website so bolding seems relevant and necessary.
